Location is Good Ok for a budget stay

We have stayed here (husband wife and a 7 years old kid) for 3 nights in the first week of June. The location is excellent as it was situated just near the upper club jeep stand. There are about 30/40 stairs you have to take to reach the hotel therefore it may be not advisable for aged people although we had no problem. We had a previous booking at Puri, but due to Fani we were forced to cancel the booking and train reservations. The cancellation cost us , therefore we were looking for a budget accommodation. First week of June is the prime season for Darjeeling and we are satisfied with the rooms and amenities. The staffs are not trained but co operative and have always responded promptly. It is advisable for those who are not interested in a luxurious accomodation but prefers a prime location.

It's a decent budget hotel, located very close to chowrasta, the main market of Darjeeling. Other good things about the hotel is the decent room size and responsive staff. Recommended if you want to stay on a budget without compromising on the location. Leaves a few things to be desired though.

It is a full residential hotel located in the heart of darjeeling. It is located in Clubside, near Chowrasta.Tennis courts are nearby. I booked this while participating in a club tournament of tennis.It was good enough to stay.

Stayed for 2 days. I was asked to change the room very second day. Quoting that I was allotted wrong room by mistake. Worst stay. Till now. Starting from entrance to hotel , staff ,rooms everything was terrible.

travel triangle booked this property instead of what was booked initially booking done at hotel white yak.. travelled in may. won't stay here again. manager is very good but rooms are too small. if extra bed is placed you are locked. food is ok. location is not worth too crowded. owner seems spent a lot of money on the property but rooms need to be well maintained and bigger ones
